You know what they say about weather in the midwest?

If you don't like it, just wait a minute and it'll change. That's why it's so hard to turn on the air in the spring and the furnace in the fall. It'll be hot one day and cold the next. It was hot Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We did not turn on the air and our thermostat said 80! In our house! It was way too hot to get anything done so my house feels really messy and dirty. We didn't sleep well. We opened all the windows but still couldn't get a good cross breeze. I'm not complaining, life is much nicer in the warmth, we'll just turn on the air next time this happens.
Friday I did some garage saleing (is that a word?). The first time in my life I can actually get good stuff. Everything is usually gone by Saturday and I've spent my Fridays working. I enjoy staying at home! I didn't get too many good things. I bought an old, ugly coffee table for our basement. Something I don't mind getting scratched or messed up. It's nice and big for games too. I bought some clothes for Hannah, and I bought a brand new light fixture for our bathroom for $5! And it matches perfectly! Also on Friday (Hannah's 12 week birthday, which is NOT when she's 3 months. That's weird to me) I got Hannah weighed. She weighed in at 9lbs and 14 ozs. So I'm guessing by this week she'll be in the double digits!
Saturday I went to a flea market and bought a marble top side table and found the perfect buffet for our dining room. Unfortunately I didn't have a vehicle big enough for it and someone else bought it. I was able to talk the guy down to $65, and he sold it to someone else for $75 so I'm sure he's happy.
Hannah is also now officially going to be in the nursery during church. We took her in the service for a while, however this did not work for long. By chance we ended up sitting in front of one of our social workers from the adoption agency. We had been working with two of them, but when we got the call on that Sunday, it was from a woman we had not met. It was with her that we met Hannah, named Hannah, signed the papers, signed the checks, and became parents. She had not seen Hannah since she was 3 days old. Well, as you can imagine Hannah is a little bigger and quite a charmer. She put on a show for her, grinning and talking. Matt and I were trying so hard not to laugh by how loud Hannah was being. I finally took her and put her in the nursery. This woman was delighted to meet Hannah. She also told us that there has not been an adoption finalized through our agency since us, except one right now that is pending. Praise the Lord Hannah's birth mom picked us! Here is the one picture I took this weekend. This is the hat Hannah wears when we go on a walk. Her little head gets so hot.
