That rough

This household has had a rough couple days. It started two days ago. I walked past our never used living room and saw something laying on the floor. At closer inspection....dog poop. WHAT? As I'm cleaning it up I look over and see Reggie sniffing another area. I walk over there and take a sniff too. Dog pee. Keep in mind, this is BRAND NEW CARPET and my dogs know better. Yesterday morning, more doggie poo and pee. This morning, Reggie's sniffing again, more pee. Various issues here...
1. I don't know which dog.
2. How can I punish them?
3. These are not "accidents"
4. If I block off this room, I'm afraid they'll just pee somewhere else.
5. Where else have they been peeing?
6. How long have they been peeing in this room????
7. Mama is NOT a happy camper.
I told Matt yesterday that my love for them is quickly dwindling, but I still love them enough to make sure they go to a good home. Matt will hear none of it.
Then yesterday, I'm changing Hannah's poopy diaper (I'm sorry this whole post is about poop, I'll move on in a minute), I see her classic "poop face" when her diaper is off and I haven't gotten another one ready. I try to grab another one and only succeed in having her poop ALL OVER my arm. I almost gagged. I ran to the bathroom (yes, leaving Hannah on the changing table, sue me) to wash myself off. I come back and somehow Hannah had gotten it all over her feet, legs and hands. So I just put her in the tub.
Yesterday afternoon I come home, and in an effort to give the dogs AMPLE time to do their business outside, I prop the back door open and start to make Hannah's bottle. And a freaking bird flies in my house. It's freaking out, smashing into our porch skylights. Then it leaves the porch and heads somewhere in my house. I find it smashing into every window in the living room. I'm surprised it didn't join the dogs in pooping on the carpet too.
Meanwhile I got our tallest ladder from our garage (Hannah is starving at this point and making sure I'm aware) and opened our skylights. The bird knocked itself silly by this point and is sitting on our huge clock in our porch. I grabbed the broom and tried to knock it off. It climbs onto my broom and sits there. So I calmly walk it to the skylights and shove it out. I'm sure it's dead by now of a traumatic brain injury.
Then this morning, Hannah is fussing at about 6:30am. This is too early. She falls back asleep, but wakes up again and is crying pretty adamantly around 7:10am. This is ok. So I go to get her. And her ENTIRE back is soaked, through her clothes, through the sheet. With pee. Poor girl! I made her lay in her pee for who knows how long! Stupid diapers. They are Pampers by the way, so I think I'm changing to Huggies because I've never had that problem when I've used them.
Again, I apologize for the poop and pee filled post. Matt and I are doing well in that area in case you are wondering.
One last thing. I'm looking for a new purse and found this site: http://shop.petunia.com/. See, what I would like is a bigger purse in case I would like to carry just a diaper and some wipes. I can't afford a single thing on that website, but it's sure fun looking!
And because I can't post without a picture, here you go... my happy baby....

That is most hilarious story I have heard in a LONG TIME! Thanks for the laughs Abby! I leave my boys and walk away all the time, so sue me too! Many of times, i've washed my hands before finsihing changing them after they pooped.
Yea, you were wrong for leaving that girl in that pee for that long! LOL! I am guilty too! Many of times my boys have woken up soaking wet through their pj's onto the sheets. Oh well! That's better than sitting in poop all night, u konw? We are great moms, no worries!
She's a cutie once again!

sometimes i feel like my life is all about poop and pee too. well, we have kicked all the animals out of the house or across the street or the gutter so we are good to go on animal accidents now :) that is interesting you are having problems with pampers. it was the only diaper that would hold makenna in! generics were the worst and they were hard!

Oh dear... sounds like a fun couple of days!! If you have boys, you can DEFINITELY count on getting peed on at least a few times! I used Pampers with Henry his whole life... I got tired of paying the high prices, so when Wyatt got to be about 9 months, I caved and actually bought the 'parent choice' brand at Walmart... they had the stretchy waist and that's all I really cared about. They worked pretty well - I was so pleased with my savings, I began to look for cheaper diapers. Krogers. On sale, you can get 68-size 4 diapers for $11!!! I'm sold. I use them for Wyatt - and honestly, I think I've only had one leak through. And he's a happy camper... good luck with the pooping.. Jonathan has banned pets from our house :(
