A great book to read

I wish I had read Adopted for Life by Russell D. Moore before we adopted. It obviously would not have changed our decision, but I think it would have helped me appreciate the process a lot more. Even though our process was a whole lot quicker then we expected. And we were busy with a new house. And I was working like crazy. And didn't have time to read.
You need to read this. Really. I'm not joking. This book is for anyone who has adopted, anyone who knows someone who has adopted (and since you're reading this blog, you know me), or anyone who has been adopted as a brother to Jesus, into the family of God. I think that encompasses every single person who sees this blog, right? :)
The first 1/3 is excellent. I read it standing in the middle of my kitchen, weeping. The middle 1/3 is heavy. Lots of scripture and concentration. The last 1/3 is touching and convicting. And I read that part on the treadmill, sweating all over the book:)
Seriously. Read it.
