Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful few days in Ohio with my side of the family. Hannah experienced her first taste of stuffing, mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie with cool whip. Hannah has this cute little happy dance she does when she is eating food she likes. So she was happy dancing when she was eating all the food. I tried to capture it on camera but she was getting full and didn't feel like it was necessary to continue the dancing.
Hannah has also *finally* started rolling to her tummy, pivoting on her arms and getting on her knees. And we haven't even started the PT yet! She spent the night at Nana and Papa's last night and I guess at 10:30pm she woke them up crying. When they checked on her she was on her knees hanging on to the side of the crib. Not too exciting for you, however, it's wonderful for me to see my little girl getting more mobility.
Thanksgiving night, Matt, my mom and my sister in law decided to be crazy and head to the outlet mall at midnight. Not to get anything special, just to experience the madness. And madness it was. We had to park about a half a mile away, walk through a field in the rain, hop a barbwire fence, all while it was probably 35 degrees and I was wearing just a pair of ballet flats. Completely inappropriate footwear. My feet were past the point of pain into the numbness when we finally headed home at 1:30am.
There were some good sales going on but the lines were too long for me to even think about buying something. The line into the Coach store was probably about 3 hours long. Just for a purse! And they weren't even having a sale! Women are nuts.
When I got to Carter's, thinking I was going to stock up on clothes for Hannah for next summer, I was beginning to think I just wanted to go home. I felt my blood pressure rising, I was getting a little testy, and I was tired. As I thought I might have either a heart attack or a stroke I turned to Matt and said that I needed to leave right now. I may have been a little dramatic but I have asked Matt to remind me to NEVER do that again! We ended up not buying anything, but it was an experience!
