Now that she is ten months old, what is Hannah up to? I'm going to do a quick run down of her day for two reasons, 1. So I can look back in 10 years and remember what these days were like (I'm trying to memorize and embrace every second of my life right now!) 2. In case it might help another mom. I have really enjoyed reading people's blogs just to see if there is something I should be doing, something Hannah should be doing, scheduling that other mom's do. It has helped me a ton and answered questions that I was afraid to ask. So here we go....
We've adjusted her schedule a bit so now she goes to bed a little later (around 7:30pm) and wakes up a little later (7:30am). Her 6:30-7am wake up call was killing me. Actually it wasn't her waking me up, it was me trying to wake up in time to get on the treadmill for 40 minutes and shower before 7am. Now I can get up around 6, run, shower, eat and get some coffee before Hannah is awake. Of course that is ideal. On the days I actually do that, I always take an afternoon nap. However lately since she still takes a morning nap, we've been sleeping in together and I run during her morning nap. I dread the day the morning nap is taken from me! Also, Matt will tell you that usually, when he asks me what time my alarm is set for, I say, "whenever she cries." So the running on the treadmill is how I would LIKE to live my life. It doesn't necessarily happen like that. Which reminds me of a cute story you probably won't appreciate. Hannah woke up around 7am today and I did not want to get up. So I got her and brought her back to bed with me hoping she'd fall asleep for just 30 more minutes! I'm laying there with my eyes closed, almost asleep when I feel something poking my nose. Hannah is handing me her pacifier with a big grin on her face. As soon as I reach for it, she snatched it away. What a goofball.
Hannah eats very well, we have cereal for breakfast. She usually has rice chex with whole milk. Her nap is typically from about 10-11am. Lunch is a sandwhich, some blueberries, maybe some peanut butter (don't tell her doctor!) and whole milk. She naps from about 2-4pm and then she gets a bottle for a snack. We normally eat dinner around 6pm and tonight I made some minestrone soup that Hannah *loves*. It has zuchinni, carrots, spinach, noodles, sausage and onions in it. And some dinner rolls. It's very healthy and a good way for her to get her veggies. It's so nice now that I just put a plate in front of her and she is independent enough to eat however much she wants.
She gets a bottle after dinner and then we play a while and she heads to bed! This is when I clean up the kitchen, get out my frozen red grapes and relax! Frozen red grapes are addicting. You should try them.
Hannah had her first PT today and managed to scream the whole time. I was cracking up. The PT was trying to get her to rotate and reach for something. Hannah just smacked it out of her hands. Hannah has a lot to work on. However, she pulled herself up on the dog cage today. As you can see below, she was very proud of herself!
She is so happy after she feeds herself a bottle.
Hannah-bear you were worth the wait! We are so excited to see what the timing is for our next child and we know s/he will be worth the wait too!

i am interested to see how your PT goes...lets see who can graduate first! haha!! at least maybe it will be more fun if we are competing lol. i have a feeling miss hannah is going to walk before she crawls. and despite what people say it doesn't matter!!
by the way i can't wait to meet her soon!!!
Cute puff balls!! I can't wait to meet her as well! Oh and don't wash her hair every day if you were b/c it will dry out kind of hair out. So maybe every other day. :) Talk to u laters.
cute pictures of her. I can't believe she is 10 months old! Good for you to get up and get on the treadmill at 6, maybe you can call me for motivation, so I can do the same. Two kids isn't all that bad..it is just the first child that can be rather troublesome, especially when tired. But, trust me, this week is easier. I'd say, go for another kid..you are a great mom!!
Abby, I didn't mean SAHM's clean and watch Daytime TV all day, I meant that what I would do, if I stayed at home and it would drive me crazy. I am sure others do their own thing. :) I want to paint my toenails!! :) j/k
i did exactly what you are doing now! and the 6 am thing is so tough. Meredith has it a bit easier, because her husband leaves later for work. I have tried recently to run when Chad gets home. If we lived closer, I'd say let's just do it together! :) But, if she goes down to one nap..don't worry, it will probably be a longer nap, and I normally got in both,a workout and a nap. I left the showering for later..or turned on a dvd for Cade while I did it!! It totally is hard, but totally worth it, because it makes you feel good. So selfish, but so needed!
I'm sorry Abby. I really am. Maybe that's why no one else commented b/c they were mad too, but didn't want to comment. Gosh, I think I might delete that post, but is it too late?
