And when did Hannah stop being a baby and become a little girl? It shocks me every time I look at her.
I've done a lot of research lately for the kind of hair products to use on her hair and there is so much conflicting information. I was given rubber bands and was told they were specifically for African American hair and they won't break the hair. Well they definitely break Hannah's hair. I need a new kind, but I don't know what kind.
And some lady (an African American lady in her 30's) informed me today that I needed to blow dry and straighten her hair. I'm not using my hair dryer and flat iron on her poor head!
I know the Lord has a plan for our next child, and I'll take whatever He has, but I'm really praying for a boy this time so I can just shave his head. I don't need two little girls with tons of hair to figure out.
Hannah the All American girl in tshirt and jeans. You can't see her shirt but it says "Don't tell my parents but they don't look a thing like me."
Hannah's cute new outfit. Matching the furniture.
As of late, Hannah has been obsessed with going in the basement and playing with all her baby toys. She loves to get in this swing and chill out. And she also likes to get in her jumper and her bouncy seat. It makes me laugh to think what's going on in her head "Boy these things look familiar, and I know I loved them once."

ok that shirt is hilarious. :) and i love her little brown outfit, especially the tights! such a cutie pie!!!
She is so adorable! And once you get the hair thing figured out, why not have 2, 3 or 4 little girls :)
Love the shirt!
good luck with the hair. it looks pretty difficult to deal with but super cute! makenna has super fine hair and it always looks terrible. i can't only do her hair decent if it is wet and by the time she gets into the car seat it doesn't look the same.
that shirt is hilarious!!!
umm, do NOT blow dry and use the chi iron on Hannah. She is waaay too young for that and I don't know why that lady told you to do that to her already. My mom didn't straighten my hair until I was like in 5th grade. She did blow dry it, but that's it. Especially as a baby, she didn't do any of that. I just wore it in little pig tails, or multiple ones on my head. Or she twisted my hair. Anyways, yes, you were right in not doing that to Hannah's hair. She's a baby for crying out loud! LOL! Here hair is beautiful the way it is right now. Just keep doing what you are doing, its cute! :)
i can't imagine wanting to straighten those beautiful curls! she's really growing up-such a cutie!!
Hi Matt and Abby - it's Abby (McLaughlin). I found your blog through the never-ending Taylor blog network (ha) and I just have to tell you how incredibly beautiful Hannah is. She's so precious, and I just love reading about your adventures in parenthood! I'm glad to see you're both doing well!
