We received word today the birth mom will be induced tomorrow morning. We think it may happen fast as this is baby #6. The birth mom, as of now, is confident in her decision to place her baby with us. This is, however, the same thing she said to another couple several years ago and she ended up keeping her baby in the end.
We ask that you pray for the birth mom. Pray that she feels the Lord comforting her during this time, that she feels confident with whatever decision she makes, that the delivery goes smoothly, that the baby is healthy, that she feels the Lord's presence in her life and that this experience will draw her to Him.
Pray that Matt and I sleep well tonight and that our hearts are prepared for whatever happens.
One more....that if we do get this baby, that we will be allowed to go on our spring break trip with a one week old. Ok, maybe that one's just a bonus prayer request:)

i will be praying for you. good luck. the unknowing is really hard. btw, you could defintely take a one week old on a trip! all they do is sleep and eat! :) just curious --- what are the laws in indiana regarding if she changes her mind in a month and wants the baby back? i hate to ask the question but i know that you and matt have talked about it. i know someone who is going through that here and so i was just curious how it worked in IN.
