Baby Liv. Will have many more newborn experiences than Hannah did. I can't stay in like I did with Hannah. First of all, Hannah was born in the winter and was a preemie. I was told to not take her out. Plus even grown ups don't want to go out in the winter. Also, now Hannah is busy busy. Got to keep that girl doing things...
April babies = awesome. I'll pick the spring months for a new baby any time. Maybe next time too..... (what, I am already talking about a 3rd one?? I need a tv show called Baby Hoarder.) (My friend Abby came up with that idea.) Is it obvious I'm tired?
Lastly, as I try to put something coherent together, we want to say thanks to everyone who donated to our fund. Every penny counts. Now I can take 3 full months maternity leave. I can pay (out of pocket mind you, $92) for all well baby checkups and not skip some like I did with Hannah. We can replace the back door that completely rusted out and won't shut without draining the last remaining pennies. But mainly, we were able to bring home a little girl into our family. To love her and give her opportunities she may not have had. To raise her, but at the same time, give her back to the Lord as His adopted daughter too. We are humbled the Lord decided to trust us with another one of His little ones. We love her so much already, it's amazing.

seriously, what blessed little girls! i agree with you on 1)baby hoarder. sign me up. 2)spring babies. so hard to have a baby in the winter! and 3)poor subsequent children and hand me downs. this year kaiya got ava's sandals from last summer, and ava got new ones. i can't even imagine poor reese. she will be wearing dirty old clothes her whole life! congratulations!!!
Oh, I am just so happy for you! You are absolutely glowing in these pictures, and it's clear sweet little Liv is right where she belongs. And yes, having a spring baby is the best. My maternity leave was from May through mid-September, and it was totally dreamy.
i love all your pictures! i can't wait to see more! i also think that green on your wall is rockin! man, you beat me on the zoo! we did the arboretum at 5 days old and the zoo at 2 weeks. glad we aren't the only crazy people!
