Two babies at once has not been as bad as I dramatically thought it would be. Don't get me wrong, all I do is feed babies and change diapers. Sometimes, the last thing on earth I want to do is wipe another nose or do another load of laundry. But we are adjusting, and quite well.
We do understand that the Lord gives us the grace to handle what He has for us, and we are also aware that people have been praying for us, so we know it has not been by our own strength.
Hannah, Olivia and I drove to Ohio for a few days to hang out with my parents and brother while Matt coached some golf matches.
I was able to buy new and matching bedding for the girls rooms from Pottery Barn. For the record, it's not my favorite, but I got two sets of bedding for around $80. So once I can get enough time to get this room around, I'll post some pictures. As I'm sure you are all dying to see.
We did some other, not very exciting shopping too. But the best part was being with my family again and having them spend time with my beautiful daughters.
On to another topic. Olivia won't wake up. Ever. Except for about an hour (or more) at night while she's crying. But during the day I can get maybe a total of 1 hour of open eyes out of her. I am getting somewhat concerned. Maybe I have a sleepy baby. It's probably nothing. I don't like it when the only time she is awake is because she is crying. I am just praying it's not related to her heart. I can't help but have my mind go there. Maybe I'll call her doctor.
And now pictures...
Eyes open for the 2nd time today at 8pm.
The open eyes quickly moved to crying. Shocker.
Hannah enjoys eating her cereal like this. Sucking up the milk like a dog. Funny child.
We brought the dog cage up from the basement and Hannah has found it as a really fun toy. It will give her 20-30 minutes of entertainment. Which of course, gives me time to get things done!
