Just the facts....

1. Olivia sleeps in a borrowed crib from a friend so we don't have to buy a big girl bed yet. I forgot how tiny they are in the crib.

2. Olivia sleeps so well throughout the day. Too well in fact....

3. Hannah tried on her father's power balance bracelet today. We thought it would give her the power and the balance to walk. What a scam!

4. Olivia will not wake up during the day. I have done every torture method possible, short of water boarding to get this babe awake. To no avail. But NO KIDDING at 8pm, her little eyes pop open. And usually it's just to give me the stink eye.

5. Hannah sliced her index finger and thumb on a glass coaster because I was feeding myself Olivia and wasn't watching her. She bled like a stuck pig (what does that even mean?).

6. I have silicon muffin wrappers that I don't cook with so Hannah plays with them. I usually put them on her head over her puff balls, which she thinks is hilarious. Hannah thought Liv needed to join in the fun.

7. Hannah loves washing her hands in the sink. She can even make the sign now for wash hands. So we indulge her and wash her hands and feet in the sink.

8. Hannah was carrying this bag around like a purse. So Nana bought Hannah a new purse that came with a cell phone, lip stick and a credit card. What a girl.
9. Olivia senses the bedtime. Whether I decide to put her to bed after her 7:30 bottle or 10:30 bottle, she knows. And cries her cute little head off. For a really long time. In fact I'm not even going to tell you how long we have let her cry for fear of what you might think of me.
10. Hannah's new favorite thing is to play puppies. Everyone gets on all fours and we growl and tackle each other. Her giggles are so fun and makes me want to bottle up the sound forever.
11. So far, all Hannah does with Olivia is say "bayyybeeee" and kisses her. I know it'll change, but I'm treasuring it for now.
12. Due to the pure exhaustion that is the result of a baby getting her days and nights mixed up....I crave coffee all the time. Even more than I usually do.
13. We are surviving as a family of four. There is much grace flowing between husband and wife here as we are both tired and cranky.
14. We have not heard anything about the birth father. We knew as of last Thursday the 6th that the putative father registry had not been signed. He had until the 7th at midnight, but because we have not heard from our attorney, we are assuming no news is good news. She's ours (poor girl)!
15. How kissable are Olivia's chubby cheeks??
