There's a multitude of posts in my brain

Every day I come up with something I should say on this blog. Of course it's funny and informative, but then, I'm busy and I forget and then I'm not funny anymore. Therefore, this post is going to be a conglomeration of everything buzzing around my brain that I just need to write down.

First, Hannah is walking. We are excited in our house. She is so funny because we had been cheering her on so much that now when she starts walking, she has to look at everyone for approval. I had to tell her that most people aren't going to care that she can walk. Then I make sure to tell her she is the cutest walker in the world!
Second, we went to the zoo yesterday, and a splash park today. We are just living it up in the warm weather. Who wants to stay home and clean? That's my way of saying my house is really messy.
I wanted to include a picture of me. This too, can be you if you don't shower for over 24 hours, get sweaty at the zoo (still not shower), get sweaty at the splash park, and work out. You think my hair looks wet? That is not water my friends. That is grease.
Hannah made a new friend, Lily, whom you can read about here. They were so cute together and I had a great time with Lily's mom.
Thirdly, Olivia isn't giving me the stink eye anymore. Sometimes she even looks quite pleasant. I think it's because (oh don't jinx me now) she has now fallen asleep two nights in a row without shrieking like someone is pulling off her toenails one by one for several hours. Maybe the new soy formula is helping? Oh, and Liv has a moderate sized hole in her heart. We will be seeing a Riley Children's Hospital specialist in a week and a half. Worse case scenario is a surgery to patch it up and a normal (whatever normal is in this family) life. We will be praying it closes on it's own, but we know the Lord is in control.

Fourthly (this list will end at some point), Hannah knows her pacifiers are in this vase on the countertop. So I took it down and gave it to her and it was like her little piece of heaven. She pulled out every single one, took a drag of all of them, settled on her favorite, and walked away.

Fifthly, "thank you" sounds so trite to say to those of you who contributed to our fund. You have no idea what it means to us. We are so thankful for your hearts, whether it was $15 or $5000, you helped us bring home Olivia. We received a card from a relative with quite a sizeable check in it with the words "you are giving hope to little ones" which moved me to tears. It's not just us though, it's us pointing our little ones to Christ. We have now had almost our entire $14,000 bill paid for. It reminds me of the phrase someone at Lifesong for Orphans wrote me, "if it's His will, it's His bill." Thank you.

And finally, I'm up to two pots of coffee a day.

that sisters answer below gave me goosebumps. you are so wonderful! what blessed little girls to have you for a mama. in other news, that picture of you is awesome...i rarely shower more than twice a week, and you have toned arms. while you may consume two cups of coffee, i consume two dozen donuts. this is why the difference is so great. i think you look awesome and you are doing such a great job! beautiful, beautiful girls. i love them from afar!! (in a not creepy way)
