Olivia had her Riley Children's hospital pediatic cardiologist appointment yesterday. She weighed 8lbs 8oz! That's two pounds she has gained since birth so not a typical amount but sufficient enough to not be concerned. According to the cardiologist, they need to see her in nine months just to monitor her weight gain and any other symptoms that may arise from the hole in her heart. However, she is doing great and we are still praying the hole closes on it's own. There are two different holes to have, PFO or ASD. Without going into details, we are praying it's a PFO (I think).
Either way, Matt took baby duty and I slept the whole night through which was incredible. I was even able to get back to my 5:30am run with my friend for the first time since Olivia. For the first time in six weeks I have run and showered before the girls got up.
Hannah slept through the night at about 8 weeks so I'm really hoping I only have two more weeks of night duty.
In other big news..... Olivia smiles. In between scowling, she grins. She crinkles her nose and squints her eyes and it's the cutest thing I've seen since Hannah's first smile. I'm in love again.
