1. Hannah said the best sentence ever today.... "more cookie dough please." Polite and excellent taste! That's my girl!
2. The checkout guy at WalMart today told me that instead of feeding my child baby food (as he noticed what was on the belt) I should just start her off with pizza and bbq chicken and ribs. He raised eight kids, three by himself. That makes him an expert.
3. The children's leader at BSF told me today that Hannah was awesome, that she wants to keep her, and she is such a sweet girl. Then when we got in the car, she threw the most amazing fit. Way to keep me humble, girl.
4. Adoption thought of the day..... Olivia and Hannah have just as much right to reject us as any other kid in any other family, biological or not. There is no savior complex going on in this house. As painful as it may be, my kids will be making their own decisions. They have no obligation to "thank" us for "what we did". They, as humans with free will, can leave our house at 18 and never look back. Just like yours can.
5. I am closing in on 300 posts. That is a whole lot of nonsense. Thanks for reading.
6. We are close to clearing up a minor situation with Olivia's birth father. We would love for you to pray that the judge rules in our favor completely. No panic or anything, just a situation.
7. I actually starting some Christmas shopping today. Nothing too exciting, but shopping for two precious girls might be the most fun ever.
8. My mother in law has offered to let my girls nap at her house every Wednesday (have I mentioned this before?). Do you know how amazing this is? I joined Sam's Club (I really feel like I've told this story before), I get some errands done, and I can vaccuum the whole house!

ummm, vacuuming is supposed to happen on Mondays and Tuesdays. You are so not following the schedule. I like the randomness of this post.

cookie dough is so great i've always felt it was unfair to deprive my kids even though i receive judgment for it. although now we are starting to fight over beaters. and spoonfuls. but whatever. love your post and way to go on the 300!
