I have to work three days this week (!) instead of two, so I think the girls are going to go through some attention detox. Along with pumpkin pie, dinner rolls and stuffing detox (myself included).
Our weekend was wonderful for many reasons, but the most important reason was the time set aside for us to give thanks. Which, as my father reminded us, is only wonderful when you know the Someone to thank.
Here are pictures of the girls with my mom, with my grandparents and then little Olivia's adorable face peeking out of her cover on her carseat. It doesn't get much cuter than that folks.
Last Thanksgiving thought of the day....I skipped dinner tonight because I am over food already. I don't think I can stuff one more ounce of wonderful food down my throat. Anyone else?

nope. never wanted to skip a meal. but that's why i'm this size and you're that size. our christmas card last year was three horrible pictures because a cute one was an impossibility. the caption was: hope your holidays are more peaceful than ours. your right-there is some allergy to the camera. it gets better though. but then other kids get the affliction! they are adorable no matter how they look. seriously, so cute!
i cant believe yall have to bundle up olivia. i am still wearing tshirt and shorts!
i am glad you got some relaxing time. i need some of that!
one of the things given thanks for at a universalist church thanksgiving service was----thanking the turkey for giving hers/his life for us!!!!! thanking mother nature was a given.
