It was a top 10 weekend

It's Wednesday and I am just now getting the chance to sit down and write about our weekend, which, if you couldn't tell, was fantastic.
It really wasn't that exciting. But we loved it.
Saturday was great. We had zero discipline issues with Hannah. Amazing. Olivia was hardly fussy. Amazing. But no, that's not all.
We rented Toy Story 3 and we let Hannah stay up a whole hour later (!) than her normal bedtime. After bath and putting Olivia to bed, we got milk, cookie dough, a huge cozy blanket, turned out the lights and popped in the movie. Hannah lasted an entire hour cuddling with us. And she loved it. The attention, the movie, the questions, the toys (the cookie dough), the snuggling. Matt and I both agreed that was a top 10 sweetest parenting moment.
I know you are blown away by the levels of excitement that occur here.
It doesn't end there folks.
Sunday we left the girls with Nana and Papa and Matt and I went to Indy for the day along with our concert friends. We spent the afternoon watching the Colts' game at a sports bar. Then we did some shopping and then we went to, what is now, my all time favorite concert... NeedtoBreathe.
If you ever get a chance to see them in concert, do it.
We got home at 1:30am on Sunday and then I had to work the next two days. Long days (8a-6p, and 8a-7p). Which is why I am just now here writing about this.
I am hoping to break out the camera soon because my girls are growing too fast and getting cuter by the day. I don't like thinking that I am missing days of documenting their baby faces.

How funny - we watched the original Toy Story this weekend with Calvin (or tried to, he's just starting to pay attention to TV) and he snuggled between us on the couch for about 25 minutes, which we found to be kind of miraculous. Must be something to those characters...anyway, sounds like a PERFECT weekend. :)

one of my favorite things to do is to get ice cream and cuddle up on the couch with the family and watch a movie :)
