Hannah's birthday party

Sunday morning we skipped church as the three girls in this family are pretty sick. Hannah is still on her breathing treatments and Olivia and I are now on antibiotics. It's really fun.
We had lunch Sunday afternoon with both sets of grandparents, then we had Elmo and Cookie Monster cupcakes. Then presents. Hannah was pretty much done with the attention, the sugar and the activities by that time and she didn't do too well with the presents. I failed to mention we had stopped by Chuck E Cheese the night before. Birthday overload.

Hannah was pretty excited about the cupcakes, and they were very cute. Made by my friend Abby. Hannah was even able to blow out the candles by herself. How cute.

You will notice something in the next few pictures. Nana knitted Hannah a new hat and I thought the girls looked pretty cute in it. So I think I took 200 pictures of them modeling the hat. These few are my favorites.

Hannah decided to take Cookie Monster on a tricycle ride.

We got the girls a water table and so we filled it up in the living room. Olivia loved it. I think we may set up the water table in the basement so they can splash everywhere.

Hannah got a Cookie Monster. She loves him best of all. We let her pick between CM and Elmo and my cookie lover picked another cookie lover.

Before presents, we cried a bit. We decided to title this picture "It's my party and I'll cry if I want to."

Hannah also got some clothes and a pill box that I fill everyday with dried fruit or sometimes M&M's. She loves opening each day to eat the treat. We made sure to teach her this is her pill box and when she finds someone else's, to not eat what's in it.

It was a fun 2 year old birthday party for our special 2 year old.

I LOVE the hats and the crying picture. Glad you were able to celebrate despite the sickness. You're getting pretty good with that camera!

The pink hat is SO adorable. I love the first picture of Hannah wearing it. Looks like Elmo and Cookie are universally loved by all two year olds! Your girls are the cutest.
