How is it that it's been a year since you were born? How is it that your birth and life have been just as magical and amazing, yet different, as Hannah's? How is it that there was indeed enough love in us for another beautiful girl? How is it that your life has proved to be yet another jar of balm on my infertility scars? How is it that while you are the hugest cuddler in the world, I actually kiss you enough that you get annoyed? How is it that your cheeks are that cute and I haven't bitten them off yet? How is it that somehow you seriously get cuter every day? How is it that the Lord decided that we would be chosen to raise you? Precious girl, I tell you this every day and I mean every word of it, I love you more than you will ever know. And once again, sweet cheeks, your Heavenly Father loves you even.more.than.that.
Please feel free to read this I put up on our page if you haven't already. I don't think we ever shared exactly what happened when Olivia was born. That we were sitting in Pizza Hut when we heard her birthmom was in labor and that we didn't know anything for almost 24 hours and I almost turned gray in that time. As much as I enjoy reading about birth stories, I really and truly love our adoption stories.
