How to make my life sound fun and interesting.....

How about.....I am painting chairs? Is that interesting?
Maybe....that I ran a long run yesterday and it was too hot and I didn't take water and then gave myself a dehydration migraine and I had to miss my 10pm softball game. Oh, not interesting?
Or....I just love summer so much I can't even stand the thought of it getting colder and life is so much harder in the winter. That's still not very fun, or interesting.
How about.....we are switching our living room into our dining room and our dining room/family room into one big living room. Yep, that's about all the excitment I can handle.

As for the girls, I'm not sure there are many more ways to tell you just how much I am loving this season of parenting so I guess I'll just show you some pictures.

So the chairs were going to be aqua. They ran out of paint. so now the rest of them will be straw yellow and we will save the aqua one for Jesus' seat.
Matt and I have been eating up this little one. She has been too precious and snuggly for words lately.

I actually forced her to smile here so she came up with this face. Too funny.

I was trying to make her pose in her new swim suit and she translated that into "run in your new swim suit."

Have I mentioned that my children have really cute squishy noses?

Can I get a suit like this in my size? I can't even stand how much I love it.

Also, today on my Google Reader I had 96 unread blog posts. That shows you how much I've been neglecting the computer lately. I suppose I should catch up, but I also need to catch up on my reading through the Bible in 90 days. I'm still trucking along and I have to say, I highly recommend it. It's much more interesting reading it a lot and reading it like a book without the pressure to answer any study questions. I find myself thinking about what I read throughout the day, thinking about how to apply the stories to my life. I also, strangely enough, find myself having more patience and love for others. That's weird.

Abby -
I'm a recent follower of your blog. I love it. :) ...I love the updates on your sweet girls. I love the way you write...I drop in often to see if you have anything new posted. :) (Suddenly, I feel kinda weird stalking you online like this. Eeesshh - sorry!)

Anyway - just wanted to comment on what you said about reading through the Bible as a "real" book. I have been doing the same thing lately. As a result, I found myself really loving the book of Judges. Who woulda thought that a rigid account of Israel's rebellion and the judges who kept saving them would be so relevant - and like you said - interesting and thought provoking? :)

Thanks for letting me stalk you! ...Good to run into you guys at the zoo the other day. Take care. :)

Just the batHing suit alone is fun and exciting. Maybe you should move. That's how we keep from getting bored :) way to go on the bible. Guess its all true. I'm doing a year but now feel kind of lazy !
