Ok, so I found this article about how much the tasks I do at home (laundry, grocery shopping, cleaning and cooking) and how much it's worth if I paid someone else to do it.
One thing they forgot to add was interior decorator, house painter, and barista. Those are worth a couple extra grand at least.
Before anyone gets all weird about this whole stay at home mom/ working mom thing, please don't be offended. I just thought it was interesting.....and a good excuse to buy a chair today I saw at Marshall's. We are saving almost $100 grand by me staying at home (right??) surely we can afford a chair......

UPDATED: As I was vaccuuming (where I do my best thinking because I can't hear anyone talking to me over the sound), I was thinking....I don't know a single working-outside-the-home mom who hires any of these services.
So working-outside-the-home moms are worth twice as much as me. Amen, moms??
