We drove 21 hours to Florida, the girls did a great job. We drove 17 hours back and the girls did a great job (although, the drive home was about one hour too long and the girls were both having meltdowns that last hour).
Overall, the vacation was awesome. We all got tan and we all got to be outside and enjoy God's creation of sand and ocean (and delicious sea food!).
We are grateful for vacations with family.

| We are still kind of working on Olivia and potty training. We weren't too serious about it but I think I will give it an official first effort this coming Friday. Wish me luck! |
| Pajamas and water wings. Ready for the beach! |
| Just being a sweet girl. |
| Morning story time with daddy. |
| View from our condo. |
| This one could have played in the ocean or on the beach all day. She cried whenever I told her it was time to go in. |
| This suit got tons of attention. It's the cutest thing ever (and the girl in it). |
| This one was obsessed with the pool. Because of her water wings she was nearly independent swimming around and she loved every single minute of it. |
| So cute. |
| We had to have a time out corner of the pool so this is a picture of Olivia being punished. But nothing is really punishment in a pool in Florida. |
| Olivia - cute face. This is what she does when you tell her to close her eyes. |
| Hannah - cute face. Can't get cute faces together though. |
| The cousins. Can't get a good picture of four kids 3 and under! |
| We had a boat trip. |
I rented a double jogging stroller, which I loved. Most afternoons I would ask the girls if they wanted a bed nap or a stroller nap and every time they would pick a stroller nap. So I would cover them in beach towels and I would walk the beach for almost two hours and they would nap. They loved it. I loved it. It got to the point where Liv would feel tired and climb in the stroller and fall asleep.
Vacation sure is different with little ones. We used to go out every night, to a different (expensive) restaurant all dressed up. This year, most of us (ahem, Suzy) wore the same clothes most days and were lucky if we dried our hair. I packed seven tank tops, two pairs of shorts, a pair of capris and still over packed. We ate in every night but two (we can't resist local seafood) and we, unfortunately, didn't get much sleep.
I got to run almost every day which was pretty awesome. Matt got to play board games with his brother in law almost every day which (apparently) is pretty awesome. And we got to spend time with family. Of course that's awesome.
It was great. Now back to the real world. Good night.

Your kids are so photogenic. Love their sweet faces. And Liv's swimsuit is to die for! Where did you get it?
Glad you had a fun trip!
Abby, I got the suit at a local kids store. It's very upscale and normally wouldn't buy a single thing in there, but the suit was $20 and just like you said, to die for:) Hannah wore it last year so I knew we would get good use out of it.
that is so great yall got to go to florida. we are going next month and your pictures made me even more excited! i love how much expression olivia has on her face in every picture. she cracks me up!
