Making sure my girls are cool

I bought a table for our "banquette" seating. The girls love it and so do I. Here are their thoughts on the matter....

Nice.

I don't know.
I need to hang some shelving now. I like projects.

You know Gangnum Style right? I am so far behind in all cool (media) things in this world, if I know what it is, surely you do. YouTube it.

We showed it to the girls. We want to make sure they are cool when they enter preschool.

Definitely confused by it. Please don't look in the background. (Oh, that's Matt back there. He may have torn his left ACL. Yes, he already tore his right one and ruptured his left achilles. In four years. Geesh.)

But, when I started dancing like Psy, I started sweating. I should do it for a workout.

I also started and completed my first sewing project. This has been on my list of things to do since 2009, I'm not kidding. I have problems, like most women, with my pants. They fit in the hips and thighs and gap in the back. Almost every pair I own, it's so annoying!! I found a solution on Pinterest and I fixed four pair of pants tonight!

Big annoying gap. And big annoying pile of laundry.

Gap = gone. Laundry = still there. Dang it.

My next sewing project. It says it's easy. We shall see.

I just hung these in our bedroom today. Their names at the top and a verse across the bottom. I like it. And those girls.

I also want to make note of something about my girls. Hannah is so messy. I think just like me as a kid. My grandma would always tease me about never knowing what color my carpet in my bedroom was because it was covered in clothes. Hannah is messy with her toys, her books, her bedroom, her clothes and her food. She whines when she has to put away her toys (but she is getting better) and does her chores very slowly (I'm sure much like me when I was younger). Olivia, on the other hand, is so neat. She doesn't need to wear a bib anymore (Hannah does!!) and she is soooo good at cleaning up. She is good about hanging up her nightcap on the side of her headboard (Hannah chucks her wherever she feels like it). She knows where her blankies go. She puts her shoes away, she puts her toys away. She even remembers to put her step stool back where it goes after she brushes her teeth, and I have to remind Hannah every single time.
The difference is amazing! I like them both though, a whole lot:)
