Can you even believe Emiline is two months old? I can't remember what life was like before I had this new cute little 5th appendage. She nurses all the time, and I'm finally figuring out just how different nursing is. We are in a nice routine, which is very different than my scheduling ways with my other two.
She eats about every 2-3 hours and is finally good at going down for her naps. She has discovered that sleeping is awesome, like the rest of us in the house.
I usually feed her one last time anywhere between 9-11pm, she usually eats again around 1-2am and then again between 4-6am.
I'm tired.
I really can't believe Hannah and Olivia were sleeping from 10pm-7am by this point.
I am not sure Emiline will ever sleep through the night. Hopefully by kindergarten.
But it's fine. I'm getting really good at being tired. And God is good too.
All day today I sang,
I need You,
Oh I need You,
Every hour I need You,
My one defense my righteousness
My one defense my righteousness
Oh God how I need You.
Because I wasn't sure I was going to make it through every hour today (remember I gave up caffeine??).
I'm not complaining. All my kids are doing awesome. Hannah and Olivia are doing a great job being big sisters. But you know, when you're tired. And you have three little ones, it's really an hour by hour survival.
Olivia has this problem with her panties. She always puts her shoes on the correct feet, ever since she has been wearing shoes (Hannah is still working on that). But she can't manage to get her panties on in the right direction. And she likes to take off all her clothes. So at any given time she is running around in panties with a wedgie. She has the cutest little bum. I don't mind looking at it.
Hannah and Olivia are obsessed with Squinkies. Those are fun toys to pick up, or find if they are lost. It's my fault, I keep buying them. But I like making them happy.
Here are the results from our 2 month photo shoot today. Hannah really wanted to take a picture of me too, so I included that one.
Hannah was a mover, she never stopped wiggling. Olivia was serious and gave the world the stink eye for a while. Emiline is so wiggly and we have to work really hard to get a half smile from her.
We have no idea where #3 got her blue eyes.
Blue eyes??
The big girls are so good with her.
Smothering with kisses.
The stink eye.
This is her version of a smile. I'll be honest, most of her smiles are not at me, but at the place her food comes from. It cracks me up.
Hannah is so good standing up and holding Emiline. Especially since Hannah weighs 37lbs and Em weighs around 11 lbs (I would guess). I don't think I could pick up and hold 1/3 of my weight.
Em and me.
My THREE girls. Can you even believe it??

You are such a great mom and you're doing a great job with #3! It'll be worth all the lost sleep (repeating this to myself as well :)) And NO CAFFEINE, well that is amazing. Your girls are beautiful :)
