Snow in April...

Well, spring break is over and we woke up to snow today. Actually we were awake the whole night, we just got out of bed at 7 and there was snow on the ground. Not sure why Hannah didn't feel like sleeping. We put her to bed at 8, her normal bed time. She slept until 1am, which is earlier then normal. I fed her. She went right back to sleep and woke up again at 3am. She wasn't really crying, just whimpering. For an hour. So I rocked her a bit and came to the conclusion that she just wanted to be awake. She wasn't hungry, dirty, gassy or anything. Just wide awake. So no judging us, we let her fuss/whimper from 3-4:30 am. She fell asleep until 5. We let her fuss again from 5-6am and she fell back asleep. I did end up getting up at 7 to feed her. So basically we went to bed at 11pm and we were then awake from 1am-6am listening to Hannah. We are both tired.
I did get my hair cut. No pictures. I liked it for about 3 days and now I feel like I look like either an Amish man, or like I have a mullet. I'll give it two weeks. I don't know why I always think I'll like short hair. I never do. Anyway, on to pictures.....

I just think this is the cutest picture. Hannah sitting like a little lady.

I hung Hannah's name. Her room is pink. I always said my daughter would not have a pink room, but I just couldn't resist. But I think it's light enough that it's more neutral than anything. I actually like it enough I was trying to think of somewhere else to use it.
And yes, I finally bought a bumper. I'm not sure why, Hannah doesn't really need it. It's those breathable kind and it was way too expensive ($30!!) and I would return it if I wasn't too lazy. I had about $400 in gift cards at Babies R Us so I didn't really spend our own money on it.
The little peanut in her crib. Napping after a long night. We have her 8 week check up today and she'll get her shots. I'm guessing we'll have another long night tonight.
One of the things we did over spring break was hang Hannah's curtains. I *love* these curtains. So much so I bought 2 more pair for the living room and I'm thinking about buying another pair for the guest room. They are insulated, black out curtains (in chocolate brown if you can't tell) and they were $15 a pair at JC Penneys!
That's about it for us. I'm heading back to work on Thursday. I'm nervous, I feel like I've forgotten everything I'd learned. I also feel like no one can care for Hannah the way I do. I know that's not true. I'm sure most moms feel like this when they are approaching going back to work. I'm excited though, to talk about something other then babies, formula, spitting up, etc... I really enjoy what I do, which is the only reason I'm going back. And 12 hours a week is hardly going back at all.
