100th post!

We will celebrate writing 100 posts by talking about Hannah. Sound good? We received her adoption finalization information in the mail the other day. It will be Sept 10th at 2:30 pm. I hadn't thought much about her finalization date (because that's when we owe a whole bunch more money) until I read the letter. Then I cried a bit thinking that we will finally have her birth certificate with her new name on it (her legal name is currently Alaynah Janay) and our names as her parents. We think her legal name will be Hannah Janay Hope B. Although we won't use the Janay very much. Her birth mom gave her that name so we would like to keep it out of respect for her.
Hannah has decided she does not like my cooking. We have been fighting the food battle for 2.5 months now, meaning that Hannah threw a tantrum every time I tried to give her food. A friend of mine suggested buying some food from the store, as it might be a texture thing. So I did. And now I can't shovel it in Hannah's mouth fast enough. I'm a little offended. Matt said she's probably just taking after her mom and just preferring the expensive option. I'm a little offended by that remark too. I don't like expensive things. I like quality.
Hannah is almost 6 months old and I can't believe it! She is so fun and we are loving every minute of her growing. Every new thing she does is the best. I honestly feel sorry for our second child:)

Everything with the 2nd child is just as great... it's just you miss half of it b/c you're tending to the first :)

that is really funny that she likes store food over your food. who would have thought!!! well, not funny for you since now you have to pay for it :( that is so sweet you are keeping her middle name. yea for finalization!!! is it a 6 month rule in IN? I am going to be in columbus the weekend of aug 22nd. will you be at your parents that weekend?
