9 Months Old!

So Hannah was nine months old two days ago. I'm so on top of things that I didn't even take her monthly pictures.
Hannah had a First Steps appointment that day because of her lack of gross motor skills. Two thereapists came to my house and played with Hannah for about 45 minutes and determined that she is fine socially, verbally, emotionally, and physically. She's a tad ahead of the game with her fine motor skills and a tad behind with her gross motor skills. They thought she would benefit from an hour a week of therapy. I haven't decided if I'm going to do this or not because she's only nine months old! Why in the world is her pedi concerned about this? Crawling isn't even a developmental milestone! Why do I want to make her mobile anyway? That will change everything! I might be a bit annoyed:)
Hannah is talking up a storm, but I don't think she says any real words other then da da, hi, and a word that sounds like yeah. Here is a real-life conversation in the car today....

Matt: Hannah, who is better looking, da da or mama?
Hannah: Da da

Matt: Hannah, who is smarter.... mama?
Hannah: Da da

Matt: Hannah, who do you like better, da da or mama?
Hannah: Da da

Abby: Hannah, who is being a butt face.... mama? (Fully expecting a da da here)
Hannah: yeah

Please excuse the name calling on my part. We were cracking up, I was only calling names in love.
We were in Ohio over the weekend and had a great time with my family. I do have pictures of that to post, but later because my camera is out of batteries.

Preston had a physical therapist because of his tightness of his lower legs and ankles, which cuold be a sign of Cerebral palsy! That stupid doctor freaked us out! Cuzz he doesn't have that at ALL! He's is actually now ahead of the game, but we did have a PT come out for 45 min once a month. It wasn't bad at all. Pretty cool.

Logan does PT with First Steps once a week due to a pulled muscle in his neck that we discovered about his third week of life (they believe it happened during his delivery). Although now, I don't feel like he's behind in anything, we LOVE playtime w/ Miss Gloria and I feel like it's really good for Logan (wears him out). This month, they're going to do a full evaluation. At first, I felt sad about it, and while I wish he'd never been injured, we are so thankful that he does therapy. I've learned a lot about babies/children from our weekly session, too...definitely going to help if we have any future Johnstons!

that is hysterical! she doesn't sound like she needed an evaluation at all. Pediatricians get all hyper sensitive about evaluations. Probably so they dont get sued!! :)

Oh..we got his name Beckett..because we liked it, out of a baby name book. It was on our list for when we had Cade as well. And, Clifton is my dad's name. Although the name's dont actually mean anything of significance (like I did with Cade's name), which is what I wanted. I think it was meaningful for my dad!
