Pictures with captions - II

We are busy doing the zoo and parks. Nothing exciting enough to warrent a blog post. Not that my life used to be exciting....
This is exciting, we have sweet friends who adopted their first child, a little boy two days ago. We are so excited for them and baby Max. The Lord has taken them on quite a journey so it has been a blessing to see it end like this.
On to not very exciting pictures.
I braided Hannah's hair yesterday and it stayed in all night last night and today. I am very proud of myself.

We had a family reunion on my mom's side over the weekend and had a professional photographer there who captured the sweet affection between my grandparents. I love their hands.

Hannah was not feeling it that day but we did the best we could.

Olivia and my grandma.

Olivia sleeping on my grandma again.

The best family picture we could manage. Hannah being goofy and Olivia sleeping pretty much captures our life right now.

Last Wednesday we had a tornado spotted in the area so we all headed down to the basement until almost 11pm. Which of course Hannah thought was a party.

Olivia's favorite place to be.

Hannah's favorite place to be. Can you tell I don't get anything done?

hi abby! my name is kara. i went to high school with matt's sister. i don't know how i came across your blog, but i have been reading it for awhile, and it is so encouraging to me! my daughter is just a few days older than hannah and they seem to have a lot of similarities in late walking/crawling, etc. i can totally relate to the last picture you posted of hannah! it's selah's favorite place to be to. However, the biggest thing that prompted me to finally comment was the braids! how on earth did you get her to sit still for braids?!?!?! That blew my mind. my daughter bearly lets me get a hairbow clip in! :)

WOW!! Good job with the braids! I can barely braid my hair!! Her hair looked beautifuL! You should braid it more often. It's actually healthier for our hair b/c our hair gets dry easily, it keeps the moisture in. Now all you need are those colorful beads! LOL! Just fyi. My mom never put beads in our hair. I think she didn't know how! LOL! Sweet pictures! I love them! You are such a great mom.
