I've been practicing

I have been quite busy lately so I haven't been able to practice taking pictures too much.
I know all about taking pictures in natural lighting, and getting close ups and getting at their level. However, some of my pictures still end up blurry and sometimes I still end up need the flash and I usually end up doing major cropping. So I have a lot to work on, when I have the time.
Here are my favorites...

This last picture brings me to a few funny things that I need to write down regarding little Hannah bear.
The first is I always ask her what shoes she wants to wear when we leave. Today I said, "Hannah, pick the shoes you want to wear." She looked at me and said, "mine." Yes, sweetheart, you can't fit in anyone else's. Also she always picks her only pair of running shoes, the Saucony's on the far left. She'll be my running partner one of these days.
At dinner the other night, Matt as me if Hannah could have a cookie (I am the one that makes that decision as Matt would give her multiple cookies after every meal). I said yes, but only one. Matt turned to Hannah and said, "Hannah, what do you say to your mom who is letting you have one cookie?" (prompting a thank you) Hannah said, "Two."
Hannah and I were singing the song Trust and Obey and when we got to the end, she ended it with the word trust. I asked her, "Did you forget the word obey?" Hannah said, "Just trust."
Matt and Hannah play puppies and they crawl around and wrestle like puppies on the floor. Matt is teaching Hannah to lift her leg and pee on me. Classy.

We call Olivia "baby" which we need to stop doing. But for Hannah, baby is easier to say than Olivia. When Liv is older I don't want anyone referencing "no one puts Baby in a corner." Anyway, I was reading to Hannah tonight and she pointed to the walrus and said, "baby."

That was long and mainly for my memory purposes. Thanks for bearing with me.

I love hearing what the little ones have to say! I'm working on a similar post about Logan, but when I sit down to think of the cute things he's said, I always forget! We need to carry recorders with us...everywhere!

Your pictures are really good of the girls! I can't believe it is all in the camera - you apparently have a hidden talent just coming to the surface :)

Greg laughed and laughed about Hannah's cookie comment and the "just trust". Too smart!!

Cute pictures! I love that Olivia is reading a book titled "The Spiritual Growth of Children." She is wise beyond her years. :)

That top picture of Olivia is so so cute. They all are, but I especially love that one. And the trust and obey story. Smartie girls. :)
