Our weekend as told by the captions

Just discovered this. Loves it.

Zoo. As we got close to the sea lions, Hannah said "sea lions". Impressive memory.

Hannah led the way most of the day. She had a great time. I spent my time corralling, feeding snacks and trying to take pictures. I was tired by the end.

So was Hannah.

Liv. Stuck in the wagon. Spent most of her time trying to escape.

Dying Easter eggs. Two year old concentration is too cute.

Using the wire thingamajig lasted approx 27 seconds.

The reason I have an SLR. Awesome accidental pictures such as this.

She used her hands.

Eventually she just started smooshing all the eggs into the same cup. Cracking all of them.

Again with the SLR, accidentally awesome picture.

Splotchy, brownish eggs. But enough fun we are going to buy a bunch more of the coloring packets for some outside summertime fun.

Then she took off her shirt and found an apple. Which she somehow snuck into the bath, where it got lost under the bubbles (we only take bubble baths these days), and then found again, warm and soggy. She tried to take another bite and then she learned the phrase "ew, gross."

Liv. Always the bystander.

A couple facts about my children:
Olivia: she self soothes by pursing her lips and tapping a fuzzy blanket on them. Adorable.

Hannah: Never said "hold you" like most toddlers. She said (appropriately),"hold me." But now... she says, "hold you."

Olivia: Why is a child proudly clapping so endearing? I could eat her up when she claps.

Hannah: Plays BSF. She sits on a step stool, gets her Bible and some paper says Mama, sit down and listen! She says several times Bible, God's true book, she sings, jabbers, then prays and says Amen. Heaven-bound, my girl.

Olivia: Cutting 2 more teeth like a champ, bringing the total to 6. Using those teeth to enjoy some Easter morning jelly beans (something I wouldn't have given Hannah at this age but heck, we all know what happens with the second child).

They wore matching lavendar dresses to church today, with matching white cardigans, matching white tights and black mary janes. No pictures, it was a rough Easter morning. We made it to church, but we'll leave it at that.
