2011 - A week in the life of - Tuesday

Whoa, this commitment to write about what I did everyday is totally coming back to bite me. Not for any other reason than writing every day is time consuming. I don't know how some people do it!

Ok, so first of all, no pictures. But you just saw my kids yesterday. They look the same. Literally. They are wearing the same clothes. Hannah took out her Thomas the train shirt from the dirty laundry and put it on again. Liv, well, her onsie was just on the floor and since Matt got the girls around...well, you know men.
I was up at 6:30 for a quick treadmill (where I watched the Bachelorette and wanted to claw my eyes out and/or wash my brain. Seriously.).
I was at work by 8:15.
I normally work from 8am-6pm on Tuesdays but today was different. I didn't have any afternoon patients so I only worked from 8:15am-12:30pm. Awesome.
Home by 1pm to get the girls from the babysitters (our next door neighbor) and put them down for a nap.

1-1:30 - fun computer time
1:30-2:15 - not fun computer time (banking, some email stuff, etc).
2:15 - 3:20 -  I'm not sure. I think maybe cleaned the kitchen from this morning (again, Matt got the girls around...well, you know men). I think I did some laundry too. I know at 3:20 I was heading upstairs to read my Bible when I heard Hannah weeping quietly in her room and whispering "owie."
So I went in and checked on her and decided to lay down with her for a while.
3:40 we got up and went downstairs where she told me her head hurt and she was coughing like crazy and she just layed on me until about 4:10.

4:10 - got Liv up.
4:30 - Fixed early dinner, ate with Nana, cleaned girls up and got to VBS by 6. Yes, I still took the girls to VBS even though Hannah wasn't feeling well. I knew she would be just fine and she was.

8:10 - home and put the girls down

Now I need to do a load of diapers, I need to clean up the kitchen from dinner, and I need to actually spend a few minutes with my husband.

So there you have it. Just another day in paradise.
