Now that it's Thursday, I'm having a hard time remembering what we did over Labor Day weekend. I know somewhere in there I didn't feel good (and still had to run). I know I slept a lot because I didn't feel well (is that any different than when I DO feel well??). I think I might have folded some laundry. The only thing I know for sure we did was a fire on our back deck because I actually documented it.
It was kind of hot that day (I forget, maybe it was Sunday), but we were feeling the need for a fire and marshmallows.

| Hannah has a cute face (so does Matt). |
| Olivia wasn't too sure about such a hot fire on a windy day. |
| But she was fairly confident about how she felt about toasted marshmallows. |
| The wind was making the fire and ash go everywhere. I'm not gonna lie, I was a touch nervous. |
| As you can see, we are pretty smart and put a fire right between our garage (on the right) and our sunroom (on the left). That way our house will burn down from two ends. Did I mention it was windy? |
| She put herself in the dog cage. Promise. |
| Matt was being a lion and the girls thought that was hilarious. |
| I love how much the girls love their daddy. |
| Making applesauce in my crockpot. My house smells amazing. Cheaper than a candle an I actually get to eat the results. Doesn't get much better than that. |
Also, can I make everyone in the midwest mad at me and say "Come back summer!!!" Don't get me wrong, I always enjoy bringing out the jeans and anything pumpkin. But after fall comes winter. Bleh.
And obviously, since I'm blogging, it's naptime. That also means that I have a whole list of things to get done before the kids wake up. So....gotta go.

Oh my that made me laugh out loud about burning the house down. Obviously, had the house burned down, I would not have laughed. You are cute people...and I so appreciate that another grown up naps like me. Except I don't exercise so I need to think of an excuse. Or start exercising.
