If it's a day that ends in "y" you will find all my couch cushions piled somewhere and my children jumping off something into them.
It's really cute and good exercise and something to occupy their time.

| This little one is obsessed, I mean obsessed, with shoes. And closing doors/drawers/cupboards/dryer/dishwasher. |
 |
| This little one is still just obsessed with gum. |
 |
| I think the set up is pretty cute. Footstool leads to an ottoman which they jump off of. Sometimes they miss and hit the hardwood but I usually just tell them they were asking for it. |
 |
| These two are best friends. God has been good to us. |
 |
| Crafting at my house makes me nervous and I don't like it but I do it because that's what "good" moms do right? I tell myself to not care about the mess (but I still do). |
 |
| Not that I'm biased, but that's a cute girl. |
 |
| I really really love their skin. |
Let me just clarify something from my last post. I only posted it because once I discovered each of those items I can make at home, I essentially smacked myself in the forehead and said, "Genius, why didn't I think of that??" So please, don't think I think I'm any more awesomer than...something...whatever. Also, true disclosure, I took an
almost two hour nap today! That's just in case you thought I was all crazy and productive. I sleep like people watch tv. I really don't do much tv watching, and when it comes to nap time, I am seriously disppointed if I'm not tired. Sometimes even if I'm not tired, I lay down anyway. I really love napping. I'm also usually in bed by 10 at the latest and get up around 6. I get about 8 hours of sleep pretty much every night.
You can even ask Matt. He'll tell you...if I'm this crazy when I'm so well rested, just imagine if I was tired.
And just for the sake of documentation, the doggies have a new home as of yesterday. I was far more sad today than I thought I would be, I think mostly for nostalgic reasons, and also because we ended up separating them, and because I really want them to love their new homes.
I prayed way more for dogs today than I should have. But I know that the Lord does love all His creatures and He created them for our enjoyment (plus I don't want them back). I will continue to pray that they adjust well to their new homes and they don't pee everywhere.

hahahah! That's funny about the dogs.. That's why I refuse to get dogs in my house with two boys. Yes, I wish I could sleep more instead of watch tv, but I'm one of those horrible people. My kids do the same thing with the couch cushions. They love it and it lets me do stuff in the kitchen without them bothering me! :)
I craft with Calvin because I love it, but the mess makes me crazy, too. And I would cry buckets if my dog was no longer with us, but I sure wouldn't miss the hair. I'm sure your pups will be happy and safe in their new homes!
it seems like everyone gets rid of their dogs after they have kids. i miss big jake but my house is a lot cleaner now..relatively...in a different way.
