You know when you feel like a grown up....

I have had several times in my life when it hits me that I am really a grown up. The first time was when I realized that I had two kids and we were surviving every day. Not just surviving either, but we all managed to have clothes on and food in our bellies.
Then, I joined Sam's club. I really felt like a grown up then. Real grown ups save money.
Then I started using the yellow rubber gloves to wash dishes. Only real grown ups care about their hand skin.
Then I started drinking my coffee black. Like a real grown up, or a military man.
Well, we just had another real grown up moment.
Matt and I, in celebration of our 10 year wedding anniversary this summer (10 years!!) are planning a trip to Disney World!!!

We are that annoying couple that can't take a long trip by ourselves because we would miss the kids too much.
And there's no better place to take two little princesses to celebrate our family than to Disney World.
It'll be our first family of four vacation ever. It'll be the girls first plane ride. It'll be the first time I get to plan the day-to-day activities, rides, food, parks, character breakfast (princesses all the way), and say "no" to overpriced souvenirs.
We aren't telling the girls anything yet. I'm not sure they would get it. We don't want to tell you when we are leaving, but we will say it's after Christmas, so we are planning on revealing it to the girls as their Christmas present. We think they'll be able to understand it better as Hannah will be almost four and Liv will be almost three.
I am prepping them, though. I've already starting showing them youtube videos and then telling them that maybe someday we could see those things in real life.
Hannah definitely already talks about Cinderella's castle.
I feel like a strange combination of a real grown up and a giddy little kid. Yipee!
