Today, after Liv's speech therapy appointment, Hannah cleaned up the toy room. By herself, without my asking and she did a great job.We went to the pool. They had on their swimmies and swam around the pool independently for three hours. I only had to get in a couple times. The rest of the time I got to sit in the sun with the moms and talk and drink Diet Coke.
When we were leaving the pool, I told the girls it was time to go (after giving them the 10 and five minute warnings). Neither one of them cried. They said, "Ok mommy" and walked to the car.
They took good naps (as did I).
Right now they are playing together on the floor with a busy Bible (remember those??).
I haven't changed a diaper (except for Liv at night) in over a month.
This is awesome.
I am loving this independence.
Why, again, do I want a newborn??*
I am sorry nothing I do is blog-worthy anymore. I'll try to come up with some drama.**
*Just kidding, I do want a newborn. But I love this age.
**There is drama. We cut ties with the expectant mother we were matched with. Long story.

I feel ya! No changing diapers is wonderful, don't know why I want to have another one either... Oh yea, I wanted to try for a girl, no guarantees though! :)
Bring thrown heard first into 18 months all boy is a work out. You could give that a try next time! :) Love love love that Hannah picked up the toy room all by herself! Way to go!
