Our homestudy officially expires September 28th which means while we could be matched with a baby between now and then, we would have to renew our homestudy to finalize. So that means....paperwork!!!!!
Local criminal history - check
Physicals - (almost) check
Fingerprints - need scheduled
CPS report - check
W2s copied - (sitting on my counter) check
Homestudy manually updated by Abby - check
I did all that in the past 15 minutes, I am on the ball...boooyah!
So, this is the first time we've had to renew a homestudy. We've been spoiled, I know. Two babies, 15 months apart. Hannah and Olivia. A dream come true.
We are cool with this though. Our hands are full. I have the best, cheapest DIY kitchen project going, it's going to knock your (yours?) and my socks off.
I have to finish painting Hannah's room (just a final stripe) and hang art. I need to find curtain material to sew some curtains for her. I need to re-learn how to sew. I need a sewing machine.
I need to clear out the guest room (future baby's room), I has little girl's clothing and random chairs all stuffed in it.
I need to strip, sand and paint my grandma's kitchen table and 12 (!) chairs for our dining room (and throw away the current table I rescued from the dumpster). I have a Bible verse to paint on a canvas to hang.
We still need to travel to Disney World. We really need some groceries.
We are all good here. Just letting you know that we love paperwork (and other random house projects).

Don't you just love paperwork! I keep dragging my feet on a bunch of ours!
Can't wait to see your project results :)
Just wanted to say although we do not know one another I read your blog all the time and it makes me smile. Hannah and Liv are two very lucky little girls! God bless you for giving them such a wonderful christian home. Oh and I hope you don't think I'm really crazy but I read all about their little friend Max all the time too! They are 3 of the luckiest children I know!! Keep on blogging and being an AWESOME parent! :-)
i think disney world is the most important on the list :)
