Hollywood Studios didn't open until 9am so we got to sleep in until 7:30, which was probably very good for the girls seeing as they were losing hours of sleep daily. Although, again, their behavior was still very good with very few tears or tantrums throughout our day.
Each morning, Matt and I would map out a basic schedule for our day to maximize activities and minimize waiting. This morning my job was to run and get a fast pass to Toy Story Mania while he got in line to see Voyage of the Little Mermaid (I won't lie, I was princessed out by the end of the week!). Toy Story Mania lived up to the hype and Little Mermaid was more "meh" but the girls loved it of course.
| We bought them Disney toys from home and gave them to them over the week. It made our souvenir buying much cheaper, but they still got new Disney stuff. They loved their Mickey and Minnie. |
| Just looking cute. |
| Olivia was giving thumbs up all week and of course we thought it was so cute because she had to stare at her hand and concentrate in order to stick her thumb up. But, we think everything she does is cute:) |
| Hannah started telling me to take a picture of her on the bus, so I did. I love her smile. |
Because of conflict of fast pass time and the ride we were hoping to ride next, we decided to wait in line to meet Buzz and Woody. It was probably our longest line of the week, about 45 minutes. 45 minutes was about the girls' limit for waiting anyway, but they really did a great job with patience all week.
| The girls and Stinky Pete |
| Peeking around the corner to spot Buzz and Woody. Getting very excited! |
| Just doing whatever big sister does. |
| More cuteness. |
| Finally! Liv perfected the sideways fake smile this week. So funny. |
| Toy Story Mania!!! We got to ride it twice. |
| For some reason, Combat Carl really struck my funny bone. They all just stood motionless behind things. |
| Getting ready to see Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage!! |
| Because they're cute. |
| We loved watching this. |
| We ate our lunch at Pizza Planet. Hannah was so excited and asked if a tiny Woody and Buzz would be there because they are tiny in the movie. |
| Of course it was more beautiful in person. |
| As pretty as it was, I was so over Christmas decorations and music this week. I already undecorate my house the day after Christmas. This was too much for my inner post Christmas grinch to handle. |
| Toy Story Mania again! Actually, I think Matt loved the ride the most. |
| Waiting to see Fantasmic. |
| Matt can't say no to his girls' big brown eyes and bought them both an overpriced LED light up toys for the show. |
We were again able to accomplish everything on our itinerary at Hollywood Studios. Including watching the car chase show called Lights, Motors, Action.
One thing sad happened this day. I'm pretty sure it was at this park that Olivia stopped calling Hannah "deedee" and started calling her "Hannah". Matt and I were both bummed because we are weird and loved that she did that.
This was also the day we packed up around 2pm and took the girls back to the hotel for an afternoon nap for all of us. We wanted to come back late for the Fantasmic show (which was so cool) and the next day was extra magic hours at 7am at Magic Kingdom, so were were going to be getting up at 5:30am again.
Another great family day.
