Once again we had an early morning, 5:30am to get to Magic Kingdom before the 7am opening. While standing in line we met a family from Indianapolis with teenagers and they were all impressed we were dragging our kids out that early. They said they thought all the young families would be sleeping in. Not this family!
We knew this was going to be a long day because we wanted to do a lot, and we also wanted to stay for the fireworks display, Wishes, that evening and we were not going to go back to the hotel for a nap. So we took doggie (Hannah's lovie) and beedee (Liv's lovie) along today so they would nap in the stroller.
Side story, they both love/need to snuggle with those particular items when they sleep and earlier in the week I tried to convince Liv that her fleece jacket was just as soft as her beedee so she should snuggle with that. She got mad a me and when I wasn't looking, she chucked it out of the stroller. So we lost her jacket at Animal Kingdom.
Once again, we had a rough schedule/plan for the day to maximize rides and minimize waiting. Little did we know just how important that would be as we found out later the park was at capacity! (A cast member told me that, and it certainly felt like 100,000 people were there.) But yet again, due to strategy, an iphone and walking really really fast, we didn't wait in line for any of the rides for more than 45 minutes.
Another side note, here is why I was so excited about short wait times. There aren't that many things in life I would wait in line for, especially for an hour (and most rides by 10am were already at a 2+ hr wait time). I told Matt the only thing I would ever wait in line for an hour for is a baby (and of course, I've waited much longer for a baby than that:)). It's not my patience level, it's truly that a three minute ride is never worth that to me and I'd rather just not go to Disney World. I'd rather hang out at the beach. So the fact that we really didn't have to wait much, and we got to do what we wanted, is so awesome to me.

| Tired girls on an early morning bus. |
| Rode Peter Pan, and then got a fast pass for it later. Hannah LOVED this ride. |
| Standing in line at the new Fantasyland for Belle's Village. |
| Pointing to the Beast's Castle |
| Hannah always acts a little shy when meeting a princess but she LOVES it. |
| We rode Pooh twice, which both girls loved. |
| Prince Charming's Carousel, both wicked stepsisters were on it too. We decided due to the sheer happiness of the employees at Disney World, I could NEVER work there, unless I was cast as one of Cinderella's wicked stepsisters. Coincidence I played the part of one of them in my high school play? |
| Olivia planning our next action as Hannah rode her first big girl rollarcoaster Thunder Mountain Railroad. Once again, I was unable to ride it. Next time. |
| Thumbs up for big girl! She loved it! |
Then it was 10am, time for our brunch in Cinderella's Castle. We were going to meet all the princesses and the girls were sooooo excited. Olivia loves Snow White and Hannah loves Rapunzel. Unfortunately "Tangled" wasn't there, much to Hannah's disappointment, and we were unable to find her that day. But we were able to find Tiana later, which made up for it.
| Both girls feels like princesses walk around holding out their hands like this. |
| Meeting Cinderella before the breakfast. |
| Liv was being hilarious during breakfast, trying to explain something. |
| Bias alert, but when she gets her serious, explaining face on, Matt and I both crack up. |
| Liv's moment. She burst into tears when Snow White came over because she was in her high chair and couldn't get down to hug her. She told us earlier when she saw Snow White she wanted to touch her. We laughed and said, "You mean hug her? Or touch her?" She said, "Touch." Mildy creepy if she wasn't a cute two year old girl. |
| Aurora got our vote as the sweetest. |
| Jasmine was the hotest. |
| Ariel was least likely to actually look like Ariel. |
| Waiting in line to see Tiana, or Nana Baby as Liv calls her. |
| We thought she was the most beautiful princess. I asked Hannah if she wanted to live at Disney World and be Princess Tiana. She said no, she wants to be Repunzel. I did not explain to her why that would not work out. |
| Two thumbs up for Dumbo and fast passes. |
| Hannah loved it too. |
| Mid-afternoon parade Celebrate a Dream Come True. Olivia slept right through it. |
| Once again, Hannah was sad Minnie did not acknowledge that Hannah was holding Minnie. I still thought it was adorable. |
| The current fam. We wanted to get the Thing 1 Thing 2 shirts for the girls and a Thing 3 shirt for me but I don't look pregnant enough. |
| Oh, the popsicles. At one point I had to forbid Hannah from talking about them because she asked for one every 2.37 seconds. Then 30 seconds later she said, "Mom, I'm not talking about popsicles." They were estatic when they finallly got one. We were waiting here for the jungle cruise but I didn't get any good pictures of the actual ride. Olivia loved being on the boat and kept called it "My boat" and wanted back on asap. |
| Gorgeous in real life. |
| Waiting for the Electrical Parade and Wishes fireworks. It started raining. |
| This parade was pretty great, but would have been better if it hadn't turned very cold and rainy. |
Our plan was to see the 8pm parade, then ride rides while everyone watched the earlier fireworks, and then we would come back for the 10pm fireworks show.
By the time the parade started the rain had picked up and we were freezing and miserable. We managed to get out (which was quite a situation) and we saw some of the fireworks going on. We turned around to let Hannah see them and little Miss I LOVE Fireworks just looked at us and said, "I want to go to sleep." So we skipped the fireworks and made it back to our hotel and crashed.
We were also able to ride the new Little Mermaid ride at the new Fantasyland and Pirates, both of which the girls loved (you'll notice they pretty much loved everything!).
The next morning we were 30 seconds from missing the Magical Express bus to the airport and thus missing our flight, but we didn't. We got home safely and there was nothing better than our own beds.
As we were driving home from the airport, we were talking about when we go back in two years (obviously we are booked for this summer and fall:)) and Hannah (who is convinced I am carrying a boy) informed us that he would NOT like Disney World because there are only princesses there. Obviously we did a great job of doing the Princess scene then!
What a trip and we cannot wait to go back.

I'll be honest, having to plan all that out, makes me want to hyperventilate. So, it we ever go, you can be our planner.
I'm glad you guys had a good time!
I love all of the pictures.
And yes, I am still up and it's 11:23. You have probably been asleep for a good3 hours by now. :)
We would lo love to go to Disney with friends! And the planning was so fun! You would have a great time. And yes, 11pm is way past my bedtime:)
Yes, you will definitely be going back because Liv won't remember a thing! LOL! I went at 5 years old and barely remember stuff. At-least you can show your girls pictures and tell them how it was... :)
I didn't return to Disney World until I was 16 for Band. I did go to Disney land at 14 and then I went again to Disney World at 21. Love that place. Of course I still haven't been to all the parks!
Abby, we go to Disney in 7 days!!! I'm so excited to read your recaps. We have every day planned out too, rides in order, fast passes, etc. and it is awesome to see how much that pays off and to see your cute girls' smiles.
OK we have to go with you next time. All of us have to go!!
Great pictures and funny captions. You do a great job - and I am NOT prejudiced!
