The girls playing. Sometimes I have the girls watch Em for me for a few minutes and they love feeling like they have responsibility. This is how Liv watches Em, basically climbs on top of her.
We drove around looking at Christmas lights one night and I realized I have never taken a picture of all three girls in the van. They sit three across which is really nice!
My side of the family in Ohio. We had a great time there for a few days.
On the 23rd, my birthday, I got to choose our plan for the days. After an awesome massage and naps for the girls, we went to COSI.
Then after COSI, we went to the Columbus Zoo Wildlights. It was so fun, and COLD!

I just found this picture on Matt's phone of when we cut down our Christmas tree.
Our family Christmas morning was on the 26th. We like being able to stretch out opening all the presents over a few days.
During the week of Christmas, Em started getting on all fours and rocking. Earlier this week she had started moving forward and lunging. So I said I would guess she would be crawling by this coming Wednesday. We will see if I am right!

6 months old! I can't believe I have survived this long with a baby that thinks sleep is highly overrated. Hopefully we continue to make small strides in the right direction!
They love cuddling in our bed in our fantastic fleece sheets. Everyone should own a set!
For the record, we were in bed by 9:30 on NYE. We heard fireworks at midnight and woke up long enough to say happy new year and then we went back to sleep. It was perfect:)
Now we are settling down after the crazy holiday season. We are taking the older two swimming today and then we are hunkering down for the snow and bitter cold coming our way. Stay warm!
