Miss Hannah is five. Five!? FIVE?!
We love Super Bowl Sunday, we have been talking about it the past few days and we have enjoyed telling Hannah that Super Bowl Sunday is one of our favorite days of the year because that's when we learned we had a brand new daughter!!
Hannah had a great birthday. She went with Matt for a daddy-daughter-donut-date first thing in the morning.
She requested BBQ chicken pizza for dinner, so we convinced her the Buffalo Wild Wings was a great alternative.
We came home after dinner and opened presents. Olivia was so sweet all day, doing such a great job with Hannah getting all the attention, treats and presents. Olivia even handed Hannah each present one by one for Hannah to open. After all the presents were opened, she sat in a chair and couldn't hold it in any longer and tears exploded out of her little body. It was the cutest thing. I grabbed her and gave her a big giant cuddle and told her how proud I was of her attitude the whole day and I couldn't wait to celebrate her birthday.
So for the record, Olivia wants a chocolate vanilla swirl cake with purple icing and Ariel on it with two purple flowers.
Anyway, Hannah had a great birthday and we love our birthday girl beyond words!!
I took cupcakes into Hannah's preschool for her birthday and Olivia got to sit by her and do some schoolwork. It was so fun to see Hannah at school, she is having a great year and despite being the 4th youngest out of 32, her teacher says she is ready for kindergarten!
Hannah loved having us at school and was so so sweet while we were there. I loved it. I felt so grown up:)
After we go home I asked Olivia if she was excited to go to preschool next year. She said no.
Which is a good thing because we decided we are going to hold her back a year and I am going to homeschool for a year and then we will send her to preschool.
In conclusion, it's cold here but we are staying so busy with swimming at the Y, playing in the basement and making lots of brownies!
