It's not about me..

A coworker reminded me the other day that this blog is about Hannah, that she is far more interesting than I could ever be. She's totally right. I've got nothing important to say right now. Hannah, on the other hand, has a lot to say. Her latest phrases have been "yabba dabba do" and "yo gabba gabba." She totally knows what she is saying.
And PS, why does the mail man insist on ringing my doorbell in the middle of Hannah's nap?
Hannah joined BSF today and it must have taken a lot out of her learning about God and all. She's been sleeping since 1pm and I imagine I'll get at least another hour out of her. Which has been great because I finalized all the adoption financing applications today.

Hannah got this headband from Aunt Suzy and has worn it for two whole days. She loves it.

She also has enjoyed learning how to undress. She unzips her jackets and takes them off. And Monday her babysitter found her without her pants on after her nap. (Insert inappropriate joke here.)

She also takes off socks and shoes. And yes, you'll remember that outfit from long ago. It's 9 month size and still fits her. I may retire it soon.

Different day, same headband.

We got new phones and Hannah wanted to make sure we added her friends cuz she loves texting.
One last thing I forgot. I joined Lindsey in a spending fast. I don't know how long she is doing it, ours will last indefinitely. Cause after we adopt, we'll have to start saving for college.
Really, we haven't spent much money in the past year anyway, but it's always a good reminder that the $3 and $4 here and there can still add up.
I've been learning to appreciate the clothes I already own. Right now I'm wearing two shirts that are at least four years old and my jeans are eight years old. I bought them right before I got married. And this Saturday we have to dress up and I'm going to wear a dress that is 12 years old. 12 YEARS OLD. That's 1998 in case you didn't do the math. I know what you're thinking now....how out of style is that dress? Well let's just say poofy sleeves, hot pink satin and sequins. Ha, kidding. But I won't be taking any pictures.

LOVE the headband....she is SUCH a girl because Logan would never leave anything on his head that long. I guess we learn young that in order to be cute, sometimes we have to wear things on our head. Oh, the price of beauty ;)
