Tea Time!

Somehow my girls have it programmed into their genetic code that they should have tea parties. I have no idea where they learned this, but I didn't start it. Hannah came up with it one day, so my mom bought her a cute little tea set for her birthday and the girls love it.

When I got home from picking up my awesome new side table (and getting a $150 speeding ticket), I set it down in the dining room. It took all of 2.5 seconds for Hannah pull out the tea set and some stools.

She was so cute, I almost felt bad putting the table where it goes instead of letting it sit there for future tea parties.

This is Olivia telling me to stay seated, she'll be right back.

I tried to give Olivia a chair so she would be taller, but Big Sister had a stool so Little Sister must sit on a stool too.

Olivia's new hobby is taking out all of my kitchen towels and washclothes one by one and laying them over her stroller, effectively smothering the "baby" underneath. We did a blanket over them in Florida for their stroller naps in the afternoon, but it was only one, not 52.

Here she is, the new table. The chair reads very orange in pictures, but you would be surprised how much green/gray comes out in real life. With the curtains behind it, the lamp and the chair, it's now my most favoriteist place to sit. I just need a footstool (hint, hint (jk:) my mom has one she is going to give to me)).

Also, hilarious sentence alert.....

Background: In our house, Hannah calls tooting "beeping" who knows why but it's caught on, so it's beeping in our house. She also calls throwing up "hiccuping" which I've tried to correct. After the throwing up Monday, both girls ended up with diarrhea on Tuesday/Wednesday which has been resolved.

Today, Hannah was going potty and she looked at me in all seriousness and said, "Mom, if I beep so hard, I might have a hiccup come out of my bottom and have diarrhea."
I laughed so much I had tears in my eyes. Funny girl
